Hope sings with AMUSE
Amuse is a small ensemble founded by Lee Ryder in the fall of 2003 to bring music written for women’s voices to New York audiences. An often overlooked area of choral literature, this repertory comprises serious works by a wide variety of composers throughout the last twelve centuries.
Martyrs, Mystics, and Saints
Enter the world of these archetypal religious figures with Heitor Villa-Lobos’ unique Missa São Sebastião alongside plainchant and works by Hildegard von Bingen, William Byrd, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Tomás Luis de Victoria, and others.
